Catcha Vibe


CatchaVibe is an original world reggae band from the vacationland state of Maine. Creating a fusion of world rhythms, island sounds and deep grooves that breed dancing frenzies at colleges, festivals, weddings, dance halls and events throughout Maine and New England.



CatchaVibe formed in 2002 playing local venues on the Portland, Maine reggae scene. Such as The Alehouse, The Porthole Pub, Brian Boru Public House and The Big Easy. By 2003 the bands audience began extending throughout the vacationland state of Maine to Eastport, Bangor, Orland, Blue Hill, Augusta, Waterville, Farmington, Belfast, Rockland, Camden, Islesboro, Vinalhaven and Bar Harbor.

Catcha Vibe has performed at The Bud Light Sugarloaf Reggae Festival, WERU's Full Circle Festival, The Bar Harbor Jazz Fest, Greenwoods Reggae Revival Festival, Free Range Music Fest, Belfast Summer Nights and The United Way Synergy Music Festival.


CatchaVibe has shared the stage with many national and international artists including Sister Carol, New Kingston, Stick Figure, John Brown's Body, Iration, Soul Rebel Project and Spiritual Rez.
