SOUTH BRISTOL, ME — The shores of Christmas Cove are about to come alive with the pulse of live reggae music as Maine’s favorite reggae group Catcha Vibe takes over the deck at Coveside Restaurant and Marina on Sunday, July 20 from 2–5 PM. Even better, the band will be joined by very special guest Fitzie Niceness, one of New England’s most beloved and charismatic reggae performers.Known for his deep roots style and electrifying stage presence, Fitzie Niceness adds a powerful energy to Catcha Vibe’s already dynamic sound.
Dubbed the “Reggae Deck Party”, this free show invites locals, visitors, and boaters alike to enjoy an afternoon of infectious grooves, soulful vocals, and island flavors in one of Maine’s most beautiful coastal settings.
“This is going to be one of those magical summer afternoons,” says Mai Kheet of Catcha Vibe. “There’s nothing like playing by the water with friends, good food, and a crowd ready to dance.”
In addition to the music, Coveside will be serving up authentic Jamaican cuisine, ice-cold drinks, and full bar service, all with panoramic views of Christmas Cove and the relaxed charm of South Bristol’s historic marina.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early, bring their dancing shoes, and come by land or sea. Whether you dock your boat or pull up a chair on the deck, the vibes will be flowing.
